painted filing cabinet

this weekend,
i painted up our old 'mushroom pink' filing cabinet and the mirror on top.
even the key got the white treatment!
now that the hedge has been trimmed right back outside the study window,
the light is streaming in.
even on this cloudy afternoon.
it feels like someone has turned a light on in the corner of the room.
i love it's new chalky white appearance.

    Love it! What a great idea. I might give it a try on my ugly filing cabinet. I'm a fan of white too. Just finished painting my dining table and chairs. :)

    Love it so much more in white. I just wish I could stay on top of my paperwork. I spent all day Sunday trying to sort out all the newsletters and forms!!!

    It looks good! The new color does a much better job in blending it with the room. Nonetheless, it's all good, as the filing cabinet still functions like always. It just has a better look now.
