about me

My photo
Kate Nyquist
I'm a Mum to 2 girls, and live in sunny Brisbane. I love to decorate and furnish my home with vintage pieces, Ikea, eBay purchases and market and op shops finds. I have a weakness for scrolly chippy wrought iron furniture, and have a habit of painting everything white that crosses my path. I'm a primary teacher and teach part time at my daughter's school, as well as doing supply teaching. Although this keeps me busy, I can always find time for a coffee with friends and never miss a visit to my local 'trash n treasure' Sunday markets. I started this blog so that I can stop boring my face book friends with all my vintage finds, transformations around my home and 'before and after' pics of things I paint.
