Easter weekend finds

,,sadly the long weekend is coming to an end :(
but i wanted to pop in and show you a few things i happened upon today.
a lovely old mirror. it will looked great propped up somewhere in my home.

this gorgeous scrolly wall art thingy. could be hung inside or out.
a sweet little side table. and i didn't even have to paint it!
a child sized cane chair. i'm going to paint it, but not white.
just not sure what colour yet. any ideas?
sorry about the shadowed photos.
the weather turned very rainy and cloudy this afternoon.
i thought i'd show you my lovely silver plated champagne bucket now that it's had a polish.
it will look great filled with some flowers or even some ice and champas...
i am planning to paint madly over this coming weekend so will have lots to show you soon.

  1. What awesome finds - I'm so jealous!!!

  2. I love all the great finds. I think you should paint that chair a robin's egg blue. Then toss a yellow striped or floral pillow on it. But I'm sure whatever you do, it will look smashing!!!

  3. What fantastic finds, I love the mirror and the white table...absolutely gorgeous. Have a great week.

  4. You certainly have a knack for finding such great things Kate. I just love the chair and I agree with Babe on the colour. As for the mirror I am sure you will find the perfect spot for it to go. We so need to go shopping together one day soon.

  5. Definitely pastel for the chair; either lemon, pale blue or even pale pink for one of the girls' rooms??? Can picture it! Does your neighborhood know you well, with all your treasure troving? Can't believe how many BIG finds you have, as well as all the little market things. Maybe i should be heading to the Salvo's instead of the Target decor sale.... :)

  6. You have found some lovely things. Beautiful mirror and cute little table and chair.Enjoy your week of painting ;-) dee x

  7. Hi Kate ~ I love all your treasures you are sharing today! Especially the scrolly thingy!
