yay it's Friday afternoon! woop! don't we all just lurve Friday arvos!!i have been busting to get myself some AQUA paint and paint something!
as it turns out, i have been commissioned to paint up a whole stack of gorgeous, old
vintage furniture for a local state school! i'm extremely excited about this venture, and
am sure it will keep me VERY busy painting for a long time to come!
here are the 1st 2 pieces i've completed for the school.The Principal wants to add
lots of vibrant colour to the classrooms, hall ways and staff room,
so asked me to choose
an aqua paint and get started on this cupboard and hat rack.
such a happy colour to paint with!

it was far too heavy to drag into the house for a photo shoot,so i snapped away in the garage with a few props.
this cupboard will now become a destination for "lost property"

That school has done a great thing choosing old furniture to do up - good on them! And of course, it will all look gorgeous - lots of colour fun and great photo ops for you!

It really is a lovely vibrant colour! Good to see these old things being smartened up and reused instead of being replaced with modern rubbish!
